There are some homecomings that mean a little more. And for so many of us, Peñafrancia is one of them. 🤎

Every year, people find their way back to Naga from near and far. Some are coming home to family. Some to friends they haven’t seen in far too long. Many travel from different parts of the country, carrying with them the same faith and devotion that generations before us have brought home to our Mahal na Ina.

And perhaps that’s what makes this season so special.

We come home for Her, but along the way, we find each other again too.

It’s in the “Nandito ka na?” messages from old friends. The long-awaited hugs from family. The familiar streets we haven’t walked in a while. The meals that bring everyone around one table again. The coffee that stretches into hours of kwentuhan because there’s simply so much life to catch up on.

These are the little moments between the traditions—the ones that quietly become part of our Peñafrancia homecoming, too.

So to our fellow Nagueños, to those coming home, and to every pilgrim and devotee making the journey to our beloved city this season: welcome to Naga. Welcome home. 🤎
