Our First Regular Blend, our Rookie Season! We wanted to make an approachable yet Fun Blend with the Sweetness of our Brazil Cerrado and hints of Fruits from a new Ethiopia Hambela. The Rookie Blend is meant to elevate the Typical Espresso to something more distinct in its Flavour. An everyday sort of blend for any brewing method.

Recently we visited Sugar Valley Farm in Mt. Kanlaon, Negros, to meet with Kuya Teddy Cañete. In 2023 we were able to purchase a few kilos of their Anaerobic Natural Fine Robusta. We were amazed at the quality, the coffee tasted beyond anything we have ever experienced with a Robusta. To us Kuya Teddy set the benchmark for what Filipino coffee can taste like, let alone what Fine Robusta can taste like. Beyond his coffee, there was a pride, respect for the land, the people, and the trees that make everything in this industry possible. We are proud to champion Kuya Teddy and all the hard work that he and the community around him have put together in these coffees.

We commissioned .dizon to paint all of Kuya Teddy's dogs holding hands and dancing for the rain, as during the time of our visit there was extreme drought affecting the coffee trees. Brix, Brew, Grind, Roast, and the rest happily accompanied us up and down the mountain.
