Baking is my side hustle. Because of the typhoon, I had no choice but to cancel all orders bound for El Nido, Puerto Princesa, and Leyte because our house got flooded. I wasn’t able to bake this week.

It’s been a challenging few days, but I’m still grateful. Our employer really took care of us — they made sure we were safe, and they even accommodated us in a well-known hotel in the city for 8 days, with free breakfast, while things are still unstable. We are safe, and I’m slowly getting back to work again after the typhoon.

To everyone who messaged and checked on me and my family — thank you so much. 🥹💛
And to all my colleagues who checked on us, thank you as well. Your support means a lot. 🤍

Hopefully, I’ll be able to bake again and accommodate your orders by next week. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support — especially for my little baking side hustle. 🍪💛
