2016 me: CSR sa Makati
Nag-sign up lang sa company-offered short baking course kase gusto ko lang ng ibang routine aside sa trabaho–bahay–tulog and I like sweets so why not? Haha
During our class, tinanong kami ng chef: “Why did you take this course? What do you want to pursue?”
Lahat may sagot: “to start a business,” “to enhance my skills,” “to learn how to bake…”
Ako? “I don't know yet.”
Natawa pati ang class sa sagot ko… 😂 Parang nandun lang ako for the free sweets after each session hahaha
Honestly, I didn’t really focus on it at first.
Takot + denial lang na what if the business won’t thrive?
There were no guarantees, so I just tried to put it aside…
But no matter what, it was always there, like a little reminder: it’s always there.
Sana all, diba? 😅
Eventually, I took the risk to start the business from scratch with ZERO knowledge.
YouTube + Google became my best friends…
Buti may ChatGPT na rin today hahaha
Worked multiple jobs habang binubuo ang business.
Attended workshops whenever may chance.
Learned. Failed. Tried again. Repeated.
No shortcuts, just consistency, patience, and love for the craft.
Fast forward this 2026:
I'm still baking, still learning.
I’m a micro baker, kaya I can’t really accommodate big batches, I apologize to those asking and mostly sold out na po hahaha!
It’s the quality I’m after, kaya small batches lang at fresh baking lagi yung prio ko 💙
I’m a one-woman team, with a little help from family & friends for dishwashing, inventory, word-of-mouth, and delivery.
Salamat sa lahat ng patuloy na sumusuporta sa maliit kong negosyo.
From a sweet tooth girlie turned small business owner ✨
