To our dear Marton’s Everyday family,
First of all, thank you for choosing to spend your lunch breaks with us. We truly appreciate every person who walks through our doors.
We’d just like to ask for a little understanding.
As a small family-run business, lunchtime is our busiest and most important part of the day. It is the few hours that help us earn enough to pay our staff, utilities, ingredients, and keep our doors open.
Lately, we’ve noticed that some groups occupy entire tables even though only one or two people have ordered from us, while the rest bring food from outside. Some also make use of our air-conditioned dining area and amenities, even refill large water bottles from our water dispenser.
We completely understand that everyone has different circumstances, and this post is not meant to offend or single anyone out. We genuinely want our space to feel welcoming for everyone.
However, we also hope you can understand our side. When tables are occupied this way during our peak lunch hours, paying customers sometimes have nowhere to sit or choose to leave. For a business our size, these small moments can have a real impact on our ability to continue serving the community.
With kindness, we’d like to ask that if you’re dining as a group, please consider supporting the business whose space and facilities you’re using—especially during our busy lunch hours. Your purchase, no matter how small, truly makes a difference.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for helping keep small local businesses like ours alive. ❤️
