The last couple of days have been rough, to say the least. Much has been said about the challenges that the monsoon season has brought on everyone, including small business owners like us.
Last week, we were supposed to be at a pop-up event but it got postponed because the weather has been very unfavorable. Moreover, for the rest of the week, the unrelenting rains made it rather unsafe for us to open up shop.
As the weekend came, we caught a glimpse of sunshine, and we had hoped that it was here to stay. We thought about opening (and maybe business-wise, we probably should've), but that sunny Saturday and Sunday was a much needed respite.
Alas, we had another bout of rains earlier this week. But here we are, on a Thursday, looking like the worst could be over, even if at least for now.
And so we open again. Try again. Do the best we can with the blessings God has given us.
