Palang made thorough preparations for their concept of Italian-inspired pizzas infused with Filipino taste in a variety of sizes with the emphasis on huge sizes. The commissary in A. Fortuna Street, Brgy. Banilad, Mandaue City, Cebu was established. Then, the first outlet in Salinas Drive, Brgy. Lahug, Cebu City was opened on January 3, 2008. The unique combination of a convenience store and
a pizza parlor operating side by side was a novelty. The increasing popularity of Calda Pizza prompted the company to open more company-owned outlets and grant franchises to deserving applicants. The company’s first out-of-town outlet which is located in Iligan City opened on July 1, 2009 with phenomenal success. In August 2009, two ( 2 ) new outlets opened for business in Quezon City and Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. Calda Pizza is set to expand its reach in the entire archipelago with the vision of sating the Filipino taste bud with its unique concept of Italian-inspired pizzas together with its mission of serving Italian-inspired pizzas at an affordable price complemented with quality service. In 2010, the opening of a franchised outlet inside the Gaisano Mall of Davao on May 15 is considered a milestone and unprecedented success of the company. That is the first outlet to be situated inside a mall and its sales performance is quite impressive.
