We are the Familia Pepsi of Sta. Elena Marikina City. Our story began in 1938, when ARACELI SANTOS - SUAREZ (14 years old) that time realized that only rice, and viands are being sold that time in food stalls, and there is lucrative potential for a merienda food stall. The young Araceli started selling HALO-HALO, Pancit, and Mami. She was coined ORIGINAL HALO-HALO by her "batch mates", the vendors

who then followed her to do the same. She retired from the food business after 68 years, her store closed in 2006. We as children who were raised by our grandmother we are thought of how Marikina Home Cooking really tastes like. Here in Araceli's we honour our grandmother with the knowledge, and love she emparted with us. Our guarantee is that every purchase of food that you place have that Araceli's Home Cooking Quality of a Marikeño.

Back in the days before the Marikina River Park, this area was our playground/mini farm. I could remember the fruit-bearing trees we have: Pomelo, Duhat, Mango, Kamias, Muntingia, and Coconut. Now it is part of a greater picture known as the Marikina River Park.

A group of food, and coffee enthusiast put up a humble shop about 20m from the jogging lane. I would like to promote their business " Bukang Liwayway x Takipsilim ", so come and join everyday! Experience great food & drinks to fill your tummy, accompanied by live music, and all of these is facilitated with proper observance to social distancing, and new normal al-fresco dining experience.
