Our father had no vices when he was still alive. He lived a healthy, disciplined life. His only "addiction", coffee.

We've always wondered how he could have 5cups of coffee in one day. Two in the morning, one after lunch time, one before he takes his afternoon siesta, and one before he goes to sleep at night. This was his pattern. That was a lot. He was bold. He was brave.

We thought "oh the addiction". But when we grew older -with bills to pay, problems to solve, responsibilities to meet, and moments to celebrate, we now understand what having coffee means.

Coffee is more than a drink. It is a start of an experience. It is a way of life. To drink coffee is to wake up. To take another is to breathe. To drink one more is to get through the day. To have a next one is to release a feeling. To get the last cup is to be thankful for everything.
