Coffee in hand, live music in the air, and little finds waiting around every corner. On September 12, Cafรฉ Clotilde steps outside for Rhythm & Brews, an afternoon of good food, local music, and a flea market worth wandering through.

Performances by Rise, Chied, Enfloeia, and Jayvee, with local finds from Oeuvre Mystique, Amoures Fleur Atelier, Beaded Burloloy, and Veniceโ€™s Crochet.

"We prayed for this child. We waited for this day."

Between welcoming guests, checking the room, and making sure everything was in place, we kept looking at Matty and thinking exactly this.

Weโ€™ve welcomed many people into Cafรฉ Clotilde. This time, they came for our son.

There was a time when we could only imagine a day like this. We kept praying even when we didnโ€™t know how long the waiting would be. Thatโ€™s why seeing Matty in our arms, surrounded by people who knew the story, was almost overwhelming. The child we had asked for, prayed for, and waited for is finally here.

His dedication was our thank-you to the Lord and our promise to raise him in faith and love, never forgetting that his life is a gift we will never take for granted.

And there we were, taking care of the celebration as Cafรฉ Clotildeโ€™s owners while trying to take it all in as his parents.

After the last guest went home and the room became quiet again, we stood there for a moment. This was where we had dedicated our son. The function hall we had prepared for other families had now held one of the most important days of our own.

It had become part of Mattyโ€™s story, and part of ours.

Thatโ€™s the kind of place we want Cafรฉ Clotilde to be... somewhere your familyโ€™s most important days can feel at home.

Our function hall is open for dedications and intimate gatherings. Weโ€™d be happy to make room for your family, too. ๐ŸคŽ

Some days arrive soft and sweet. Others ask more from you than you thought you had to give.

There will be things you begin with a full heart, only to find yourself halfway through, tired, uncertain, and quietly wondering if you still have it in you to keep going.

You wonโ€™t always love the middle of the story. But you started it, so finish what you started.
