22/10/2025
Today, October 22nd, is the 12th anniversary of Jack's Burger Don Quijote Dapitan. Unfortunately, we can't celebrate it like we used to because we closed down in January 2025. My whole family and I are saddened by the closure of our store, which was the livelihood of our family and helped many people. It's hard to believe that after a decade and two years in the business, we've had to close up shop. It takes a lot of patience, love, and dedication to make a business last this long.
We started as a street stall in 2013 at Don Quijote Dapitan, and it was a risk, but we were determined to make it work. We worked hard, and with God's help, our business prospered. We were able to open branches in Retiro and Sobriedad, and we transferred the main branch that started from a street stall to a better and more comfortable location.
We've faced many challenges, including the pandemic, which affected us greatly. But we managed to persevere. However, fate had other plans, and my husband, Jack, passed away in December 2023. I didn't know how I would continue the business without him, but I tried to keep going. Unfortunately, we eventually had to close down.
I want to thank everyone who supported Jack's Burger throughout the years. To our customers, especially the students from nearby schools, to those who ordered in bulk, and to the vloggers who helped us, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We appreciate your trust and loyalty. We'll be back, so stay tuned for our announcements on our page.
