To everyone who visited our Little corner in Manila,
After a year and a half, Kalinaw Coffee Co. Sta Cruz Manila has been permanently closed last May 31, 2026.
This was my family’s first shot at business. I poured everything into it. every idea, every early morning, every late night wondering if it would work. And for a season, it did. Not just as a café, but as a place. A feeling. Somewhere people chose to spend their time, their conversations, their quiet moments. the letters of love, grief, & everything in between posted in our wall were all treasured memories.
To the one’s whose usual orders were part of the daily life of our cafe. You didn’t just buy coffee. You became part of what made this place worth showing up to every day. You made it feel like something real. You really made it
To my team, I will carry what you gave this place for the rest of my life. You deserved more, and I’m sorry I couldn’t give it. But I am endlessly grateful.
I won’t pretend this isn’t painful. It is. But I’ve also learned that some chapters are meant to be exactly what they were… not forever, just purposeful.
