This May, Filipino American culinary talent takes center stage in Las Vegas for a one-night celebration of culture, migration, and memory in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. 🇵🇭✨

“Isang Kusina” brings together chefs from across the United States for an immersive multi-course dining experience inspired by the Filipino American journey through food. This menu is a chronological timeline of the Filipino American journey. To bring this to life, our research team collaborated with this year’s chefs representing seven different states: Washington, DC, California, Louisiana, Hawai’i, Alaska, and right here in Nevada.

🧐 Based on the year and the states, could you guess which chef is anchoring which part of our history?

Together, they’ve crafted an immersive 8-course dining experience that spans from 1587 to 1920 + beyond. This is an exploration of what it means to be here, to be us, right now.

Looking back at our first Isang Kusina, it was the energy of the crowd that defined the night. You didn’t just show up for a meal, you arrived ready to honor a legacy and connect with one another.

History is a collective effort. The presence of our community proved that our story is most powerful when we tell it together. Thanks for believing in our first Filipino chefs collaboration dinner that was held at Fine Company in 2024.
