Just now! Same modus again 😔
A Lalamove rider came to our Tomas Mapua branch with a customer claiming to order 15 pcs Dubai Chewy Cookies—same exact scenario that happened last night.
The “customer” was asking for a QR code to send payment. But we informed the rider na wala kaming QR code and we only provide our GCash number for direct verification. Biglang nag-cancel agad yung booking.
At that moment, we knew—same scammer, same modus.
We were able to get the phone number and address used, and we will be reporting this to the barangay in Sampaloc, Manila.
Thank you to the Lalamove rider for being cooperative and understanding. 🙏 Nakakalungkot lang kasi pati riders nasasayang ang oras at effort—lumalaban nang patas sa trabaho, tapos may mga ganitong tao na manloloko lang.
Sa mga gumagawa nito—konting konsensya naman. This isn’t just about products, this affects real people, small businesses, at mga naghahanap-buhay nang maayos.
