A province has been stereotypically labeled as a place that has a mediocre culture... something that the restaurant wants to change. In our context, Stateside is a colloquial word for imported things from United States that depicts a higher value and excellence. Hence, the restaurant's ultimate goal is to elevate the excellence in the food industry especially in the province. Stateside was establ
ished in December 2013 by two individuals who have big dreams and deep passion in the industry. Tied by their friendship, they started to have big dreams and impressive visions. As they were building the business, they started receiving discouragements from others but the two kept the faith. Some said money would break them but they would always declare that It's God who's binding them. This United States-in-a-province restaurant is a relaxing place with American-inspired background music, displays and ambience. Intentionally, it has no Wifi connection because the owners value relationships and they aim to make the place as an avenue to build relationships, to bond, to talk and to hangout.
