We would like to share an incident for awareness and transparency.
Since the post-pandemic period, our business has relied heavily on delivery services as part of our daily operations. These services, including Lalamove, have been a great help to us, especially for long-distance deliveries. In most cases, any issues encountered were minimal and promptly resolved.
However, on May 4, 2026, around 6:00 PM, we booked a delivery bound for Pampanga. As part of our normal process, we placed the booking through the app. Shortly after, we received a call from a rider who spoke in a rude and unprofessional manner while asking for delivery details.
Upon checking the app, we noticed that the rider was approximately 20 minutes away and was not moving toward the pick-up point. Since the order involved a freshly cooked meal that required urgent delivery, we decided to use the appโs option to change the driver and proceeded to wait for a new rider.
After approximately 45 minutes, the same rider contacted us again, questioning why the booking had been canceled. We were surprised, as the app should have reflected this update on his end. Despite calmly explaining, the rider continued to argue.
More concerning, the rider later appeared outside our residence and remained there for several minutes. He confronted us, continued arguing, and began filming us and our business without our consent. We do not know this individual personally, We also do not have access to his full details through the app and only have the phone number he used to contact us.
We have already reported this incident to Lalamove. However, the situation has escalated, as this individual is now repeatedly posting on our official page, which we consider harassment.
For our safety and the protection of our business, we are now seeking legal assistance regarding this matter.
We are sharing this experience to raise awareness and to remind everyone to stay vigilant in similar situations.
