Some moments from our first session of Shoreline Between Worlds.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and shared in this quiet space of remembrance, reflection, and creative grief expression. It was a gentle reminder that grief takes many forms, and so do the ways we learn to carry it.

We look forward to welcoming you to the shoreline again soon.

From shape, color, and form, the design of the Myth mug was intentional, with how it sits in your hands, the weight and comfort of holding a drink to start or sustain your day.

Then, we thought about what it needed beside it. The answer was simple. A pastry. A warm sweet or savory treat to sit next to your drink while you take your time.

The perfect pair. Find yours at Myth Cafe.

Every drink at Myth starts and finishes with a pair of hands.

Ours, curating and pouring the base. Then yours, adding the final touches, making it personal and uniquely yours.

A small collaboration between the people who made it and the person it was made for.

Our Filipino Artisanal Sea Salt Cream Latte can be finished off tableside with Asin Tibok, or add the final touches yourself by adding the balikutsa into your Balikutsa Latte.

Grief looks different for everyone, so does healing.

Expressive arts gives grief somewhere to go that is not just inside you. And it turns out, making something from what you carry is one of the quietest and most powerful forms of healing there is.
We explore that here. In every form grief takes and every form art takes.

Shoreline Between Worlds
A Guided Creative Grief Session

The shoreline is neither land nor sea; it lies in between, where waves arrive and return, where what we carry meets what we are learning to release.

Across Filipino beliefs, water has long been imagined as a passage between worlds. The boat atop the Manunggul Jar, a pre-colonial burial vessel, carries the soul toward the afterlife. In parts of northern Luzon, inabel burial cloths woven with swirling patterns called kusikus were believed to protect the departed on their journey. These practices whisper the same message: water transforms.

Perhaps this is why grief, too, is so often spoken through water. It comes in waves. It asks us to drift, to endure, and, eventually, to find another shore.

Shoreline Between Worlds is a series of guided creative grief sessions by in collaboration with healinghearts, inviting us to meet loss through art, not to leave it behind, but to learn how to carry it with tenderness.

For our first gathering, we’ll cross-stitch meaningful patterns onto journal covers, allowing our hands to express what words sometimes cannot.

Your registration includes:
- All cross-stitch workshop materials
- One signature drink from Myth Cafe
- A guided creative grief session
