If you’re visiting Kushizaru Honpo for the first time, we’d like to share a little about what to expect from a Japanese Izakaya.

An Izakaya is more than just a place to eat. In Japan, it’s a place where people gather after work, enjoy good food, have drinks, talk, laugh, and spend time together.

So during dinner, you may notice that our restaurant can be lively and sometimes noisy. 🇯🇵🍻
That atmosphere is part of the Izakaya experience, especially when our Japanese guests are enjoying their evening with friends and colleagues.

🍢 And about our Yakitori…

Our Yakitori is grilled fresh to order and is one of our main dishes during dinner. Because it is available only at night and we receive many orders during busy hours, it may take some time before your skewers are served.

Please don’t worry—we haven’t forgotten your order. ❤️
Our grill team is working through the orders and making sure your Yakitori is properly cooked and served fresh.

While waiting, we have many other dishes you can enjoy—appetizers, chicken dishes, sashimi, salads, tofu, vegetables and more. 🍣🥗🍗

Not a drinker? That’s completely okay! 😊

We sincerely apologize, but Kushizaru Japanese Restaurant will not be able to open today.

Due to the Red Warning in effect today and the nonstop heavy rain, some of our staff are unable to safely report for work. With insufficient staff and the current weather conditions, we have decided to close for today.

The safety and well-being of our staff and our guests are our top priority. We believe it is better to remain closed than to put anyone at risk.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, especially to our guests who had reservations or plans to dine with us today. 🙏
