Conrad Calalang foresaw the need for convenient, ready-to-heat dishes for people who live busy lives and don't always have time to cook a nice meal. That's why he opened Pimbrera 12 years ago, creating fresh, home-cooked meals made with heirloom recipes that have been passed down through generations.
He is also the co-author of Kulinarya: A Guidebook to Philippine Cuisine together with fellow acclaimed Filipino chefs Glenda Barretto, Margarita Forés, Myrna Segismundo, Jessie Sincioco, and Claude Tayag.
