At McDonald’s Philippines, inclusivity has long been part of our commitment to providing career opportunities for all, regardless of age, gender, or background. Since 2019, we have been actively hiring senior citizens across our restaurants, recognizing the valuable experience, dedication, and positive impact they bring to our workplaces and communities.
As we continue to expand our efforts, we are proud to strengthen our partnership with the Province of Quezon, under the leadership of Governor Helen Tan and our participating mayors, alongside DOLE, PESO, and our participating sub-franchisees, to create more inclusive career opportunities for senior citizens.
Through this initiative, 16 McDonald’s stores across 11 municipalities in Quezon Province will each welcome two senior citizens as service crew members, contributing to our goal of deploying 300 senior citizens nationwide and expanding access to meaningful employment in the communities we serve.
