PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ
This will be our last month here at Buendia Food by the Court.
Bago ang lahat, I just want to share you something. I want to tell you what I have learned in this venture. May nagsasabi na "WOW! yayaman ka na!" "Dami mo na pera" "Uy! palibre!" pero and hindi nila alam ang pagiging ENTREPRENEUR is a tough job! Ang dami mo dapat i sakripisyo! TIME, MONEY, FRIENDS, HOLLIDAYS, SLEEP, wag lang LOVELIFE (siya inspiration ko e :) )
So before I started this venture, I risk my good paying job and spend a lot of time to look for suppliers (direct &retail), designs for my stores, logos, marketing collateral etc. and most importantly investors (yes! nasimulan ko sya ng wala ako kapera-pera).Well luckily may nahanap ako :)
That's how I started it. It takes a lot of courage, determination, efforts and trust with your partner. Maswerte ka na makatulog ka ng 8hrs a day. Pano ba naman makokomplete ang 8hrs na tulog kung isa lang staff ko. Before lunch byahe ka na divisoria, bantay ka pa sa store ng halos 9hrs tapos kuha ka pa pusit sa gabi, paguwi mo mag audit ka pa! sipag dba??? Mentally and physically exhausted ka! Pero sa simula lang mahirap yan matututunan mo din dumiskarte at TIME MANAGEMENT.
This is the second part na mahirap, ito ung you are dealing with your customers,meetings, bazaars, pop up events, ung marketing churba na scam, mga feeling bloggers/influencers, etc. Dito mo ma eencounter ung mga PROFESSIONAL MANLOLOKO! Welcome to the business world guys. :) you really need to read their thoughts if not you will fall to their traps. In short, EXPENSES! dito mo matututunan maging CONSERVATIVE, BUDGETING OF YOUR SALES, DO YOUR PROJECTIONS and ASSUMPTIONS.
Habang tumatagal nagagawan mo ng paraan yang mga yan pero akala mo tapos na? HAHA! madami ka pa din obstacle and way na dadaanan eto naman ung UP & DOWN ng sales mo! you really have to be innovative pero hinay hinay lang don't be so aggressive kasi may EXPENSE yan, kailangan mo ulit ng projections if its effective or not. That's not all! you need to familiarize your location "hype ba sya" "continues ba ung traffic ng tao" "market demographic" "seasonal ba?" tapos ngayon "PRICE HIKE" Lahat ng tao ngayon naging practical sa gastusin... SO WHAT IS YOUR NEXT STEP?
Guys I learned all of this because of daily experiences. so sa mga nakakakilala sakin pasensya na kung d nyo ko makausap ng matino or nasusungitan ko kayo lalo na sa mga bagong tao na nakakakilala sakin tapos d ko maalala pangalan nyo. STRESS at MOODY lang dami kasi iniisip.
And also to let you know hindi man ako graduate or nag take ng business courses, nagawa ko pa rin ung maliit na pangarap ko na mag legit na business habang bata pa.Hindi man ngayon but in time baka maging successful din.
I'm writing this down hindi para magpapansin but to tell you guys lalo na sa mga millennial na hindi biro ang magkabusiness, Don't do it for FAME or para MAPURI ka lang. Do it for your GOALS and of course para magawa mo yan, you need an INSPIRATION.
Tuloy lang ang laban guys MAY ISA PA KONG BRANCH SA AYALA!!!!! :) and THANK YOU SO MUCH SA MGA MAKATI PEEPS!!! KUNG WALA KAYO WALA DIN KAMI :)
