Life at Toyo can be fun, but it can be pretty intense, too. We always say that work for us is personal because we give everything we have to do it well, get better every day, connect with our guests (and hopefully make them happy), and keep the team aligned and fulfilled. At the end of the day, we are grateful to be able to do what we do and be with kindred souls who share the same values as us.

For our last restaurant collaboration at Toyo this year, we want everyone to experience a taste of India, without borders 🇮🇳 The Bombay Canteen, the award-winning restaurant from Mumbai, offers a classic yet unexplored charm of India’s diverse culinary offering, marrying it expertly with familiar flavors.

Showcasing the depth of Indian cuisine, it recreates local, seasonal dishes and reinterpret the country’s age-old culinary traditions. Its cuisine is best described as ‘India-inspired’ with a touch of ‘Bombay love.’

Grateful, humbled, and still in shock about being awarded a Michelin Star on the inaugural year of the Michelin Guide in the Philippines. This recognition belongs to everyone who’s been part of our journey: the entire Barangay Toyo from past to present, our farmers and producers who make our food possible, and our guests who continue to believe in what we do.

It means so much to see Filipino food recognized on this stage. It also fills us with hope that the world will continue to see the beauty, depth, and soul of our cuisine. There’s still so much more to tell, to taste, and to share.

Congratulations as well to all the other awardees, and to everyone pushing our food and culture forward. We’re honored to stand alongside you in this moment, and excited for what lies ahead for all of us, together.

It’s that time of the year again — when Toyo takes a breather to rest, recharge, and explore the kind of food that made us love cooking in the first place.

As part of our tradition, we’ll be on our Bi-Annual Break from October 26 to November 3. We’ll be back, refreshed and ready to cook again, on November 4. During this time, we won’t be able to respond to messages, but we’ll get right to them once we’re back at work.

Thank you for being part of the rhythm that keeps us going!🫶🏽

For one night only, Toyo Eatery, Inato, and Hong Kong’s WING come together to celebrate heritage, craft, and a shared love for storytelling through food. We are so excited to have our good friend chef Vicky Cheng over for this dinner rooted in tradition, and driven by our shared curiosity.

WING holds high rankings on both the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants ( #3!) and World’s 50 Best Restaurants ( #11!) lists on top of winning the Art of Hospitality Award 2025 🙌🏽 In addition to their numerous recognitions, chef Vicky Cheng also received the Inedit Damm Chefs’ Choice Award, voted on by his peers. 💯

Blue crab meat wrapped in a banana leaf is steamed then layered with Ilocos tapuey jelly. It comes together with a blend of gata and taba ng talangka, Toyo’s own palapa, crisp shallots, and fresh green chilis that lend a little heat.🔥

This particular crowd favorite is inspired by the coastal flavors of Butuan.🇵🇭
