Yesterday, I attended my nephew’s wedding.

Today, I attended the cremation of my friend’s mother.

Two occasions that, in human terms, could not be more different.

One celebrates a beginning.
The other honors an ending.

Perhaps it all depends on how we choose to look at life. This is simply how I see it from where I stand, shaped by my own experiences and understanding. Others may see it differently—and that’s perfectly okay.

Yesterday, a life moved into a new chapter, beginning a brand-new bond between two people.

Today, a life was honored as she reunited with the partner who had gone before her, returning to a bond that death had only temporarily placed on another landscape.

And yet, to me, both are celebrations of life.

Both are about love.
Both are about partnership.
Both are about reunion.

Just on different landscapes.

In very different ways, both are an upgrade.

Not necessarily better.
Not necessarily worse.

Just… another level of the journey.

One reminds us to celebrate what is beginning.

The other reminds us to appreciate what was—and perhaps what is being reunited.

And perhaps that is the beauty of being alive—we get to witness all of it.

The beginnings.
The endings.
The becoming.
The letting go.

Yesterday, I celebrated a beginning.

Today, I honored a reunion.

And tomorrow, I may simply be grateful for having witnessed both.

Because, in the end, they are both reminders of the same thing:

Life is worth celebrating🤍.

Convenience has a funny way of creating… more work.

We buy the gadget to save time.
Then we unbox it, set it up, read the manual, watch the tutorial, troubleshoot it—and somehow end up needing a tutorial for the tutorial. 😅

Sometimes the smartest productivity hack is simply asking:

“Do I really need this?”

Because not everything that makes life easier makes life simpler. 😉

We’re always told to work on ourselves.

Be more disciplined.
Be more resilient.
Think differently.
Do better.

But what if the environment you’re operating in is part of the problem?

You can have the skills, the intention, the discipline—and still keep struggling when the structure around you doesn’t support the person you’re becoming.

Sometimes the answer isn’t to keep adapting yourself to the environment.

Sometimes, the environment needs to change.

Because change what surrounds you, and suddenly, different choices become possible.

That’s Code 07 — The Environment Code.

Your environment designs your decisions.
