The Philippine Heritage Kitchen served over 100 kinds of kakanin at The New World Hotel in Makati 🇵🇭

Talk about Pinoy kakanin-genuity: from bamboo-steamed binungey from Pangasinan to ube-forward inutak as squishy as a stress ball, served with a side of keso ice cream.

With these monthly events by the Philippine Heritage Kitchen (a collab between Chef Reggie Aspiras 🇵🇭 & CCA Manila with New World Makati Hotel as their partner venue), there’s really no excuse not to relish every facet of Filipino food 🫡

The first in the Philippines is now open in

🇭🇰🚉 It’s called Hong Kong Kitchen so expect the menu to MTR-hop from cha chaan teng bakes to wok-fired dai pai d**g dishes.

The pricing’s pretty reasonable and the space is very singit-between-errands casual

— but there’s half-order peking duck in case the s**t talking is extra good (can someone tell me if it’s worth ordering btw) 🤷🏻‍♀️
