Some streets you never forget. Poblacion gave us Kashmir Live — wild nights, loud music, and neighbors who really wished we’d turn it down. 😅🎸

City Hall listened to their constituents. Rightly so. We went home.

But Kashmir doesn’t stop:

Kashmir Live Poblacion is now officially closed. We will no longer operate on the corner of Quintos and Molina. It brings us sadness to say goodbye to a space that held so many memories, celebrations, and friendships. We carry all the good moments with us as we move forward.

Why we are closing:
Many of you have traveled and seen cities protect their neighborhoods through thoughtful zoning and long-term planning. You’ve also seen the opposite—areas overwhelmed by commercial activity, where residents eventually feel pushed out.

We never want to contribute to that.
It was brought to our attention that our operation in North Poblacion was not compliant with zoning rules. Our size, activity, and even our music altered the balance of a residential neighborhood more than intended. While we were proud to give new life to a 1950s home, we also believe that the community around it deserves equal respect and preservation.

Kashmir should disrupt through good food, hospitality, and ideas—not by placing pressure on a neighborhood meant to remain residential. For that reason, we have chosen to close with full respect.

WE LOVE HER because at moments, she’s like us. She cries, laughs, laments. Kate tells us where it hurts and we all relate. Then suddenly she’s a winged being, flutters around the room and sprinkles glitter and teardrops with each key stroke. She’s alight and we’re alive. We are all part of her journey.

Chord plucking, box tapping, foot thumping. Hips swaying, hands clapping, eyes tearing. Emotions high, senses heightened, problems gone. The Commotions are in the house and aim to start 9:30pm you won’t want them to stop. Whiskey Bear will be next, starting 10:30 or 10:45pm. We will let encore get in the way of the schedule. We will break rules if we need to and we will let our hair down if we want to. Come alone or come in a group, the night is is yours to claim SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 20
