The Upsilon Sigma Phi congratulates ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ผ๐ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐ โ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒโ ๐. ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฑ on his appointment as Assistant Secretary under the Office of the Cabinet Secretary.
The Office of the Cabinet Secretary is a member agency of the Cabinet of the Philippines that provides support to the President, facilitates the exchange of information, and helps coordinate and resolve issues among Cabinet members. The Cabinet Secretary also serves as a coordinator and integrator of the initiatives of the President.
Assistant Secretary Vince brings with him extensive experience in local governance and public service. In 1995, at the age of 18, he was elected as a Councilor of Pakil, Laguna. In 1998, he was elected Municipal Vice Mayor of Pakil, Laguna, becoming the youngest elected Vice Mayor in the country at age 21. In 2001, he was elected Provincial Board Member representing the Fourth District of Laguna. From 2014 to 2015, he served as Chief of Staff of Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez, and from 2015 to 2018, he served as a member of the Laguna Water Board of Directors. In 2016, he was elected Municipal Mayor of Pakil, Laguna, and was re-elected in 2019 and 2022.
Asec. Vince graduated cm laude with a degree in Sociology from the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos. He completed his Masterโs degree in Development Management and Governance from the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos.
