🌾✨ Banahaw Creations’ YFC Upscale Training in Cebu City ✨🌾

As one of the Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Season 5 Upscale National Finalists, Banahaw Creations is truly grateful to be part of a meaningful preparation toward the highly anticipated national-level pitch competition next year.

From December 8–12, 2025, the DA-Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) facilitated the Upscale Coaching and Mentoring Activity in Cebu City, an enriching space for growth, learning, and collaboration.

This experience was a great privilege for Banahaw Creations: sharing insights from our journey, gaining valuable knowledge from mentors, and connecting with fellow young agripreneurs from all over the nation. More than skills and strategies, we gained renewed purpose and inspiration to continue building agribusinesses that create impact for our communities. 🌱🤝

We are honored to represent Banahaw Creations as one of the delegates of Department of Agriculture CALABARZON – Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Awardees at the National Exporters Week 2025, held at the prestigious Shangri-La Manila.

This meaningful gathering brought together exporters, innovators, MSMEs, and development partners from across the country, opening doors to new insights on global competitiveness, product standards, branding, and market expansion. As a social enterprise rooted in local innovation, this experience further strengthened our commitment to elevate Filipino agri-based products while advocating sustainability, value-adding, and inclusive growth.

✨ Grateful & Inspired at the 37th Ugnay Palay! ✨

I’m truly honored to be invited as a speaker at the 37th Ugnay Palay National Rice R4D Conference hosted by Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) in Nueva Ecija. What a wonderful experience sharing the story of Banahaw Creations, from a simple idea to a growing advocacy for leftover rice utilization and food waste reduction 🌾🍚

During the session, I had the chance to showcase Pangsapaw sa Bahaw and how innovation can turn bahaw into something delicious, meaningful, and impactful. More than a product, it’s a movement, one that encourages households and communities to be rice-responsible, creative, and mindful of food waste.

Thank you to PhilRice, fellow speakers, researchers, farmers, students, and stakeholders for the warm reception and meaningful exchange of ideas. I left inspired, hopeful, and more committed to continue this advocacy—because every grain of rice matters. 💚
