With heavy hearts, we share that Cecilia’s Kitchen is closed today, April 10, 2026, as we mourn the passing of Mayor Jose O. Padrid, one of the pillars of Cecilia's Kitchen, whose life and leadership have deeply shaped who we are today.

As we grieve this profound loss, we are currently holding his wake, taking this time to come together, honor his life, and pay tribute to the legacy of compassion, service, and dedication he leaves behind.

Mayor Jose Padrid’s presence will always be felt in the values we uphold and the community we continue to serve. His memory will remain in every meal we prepare and every person we welcome.
