Contrary to what you can think of, the ketchup wasn't been invented in the United States, but in China. It was a sauce made based on vinegar and fish, nicknamed Ké-Tsiap (brine of fish). It was brought back by the Englishmen in XVIIIth century and its name and its composition was adapted later....
In 1875 Henry John Heinz got the idea to add some tomato sauce and sugar to the Ke-tsiap sauce and in 1876 his first bottles named Tomato Catsup got a lot of success. It's after the second world war it really gets an international notorious thanks to the american soldiers... who bring them all over the world....

LIKE IF U DIDN'T KNOW THAT!

The Casu marzu is a traditional Sardinian sheep milk cheese, notable for containing live insect larvae. It is found mainly in Sardinia, Italy.

These larvae are deliberately introduced to the cheese, promoting an advanced level of fermentation and breaking down of the cheese's fats. The texture of the cheese becomes very soft, with some liquid (called lagrima, from Latin for "tear") seeping out. The larvae themselves appear as translucent white worms, about 8 millimetres (0.3 in) long.[1] When disturbed, the larvae can launch themselves for distances up to 15 centimetres (6 in).

Some people clear the larvae from the cheese before consuming while others do not.

Do you know the difference between Sports Drinks (Powerade, Gatorade...) and Energy D**k (Red Bull...) ?

Sports drinks are the most appropriate hydration fluid during strenuous activity. They contain no stimulants, only carbohydrate and salts to replace those lost in sweat.

Energy drinks are not bad, but they shouldn't be viewed as the drinks of champions. Claims they make such as "improved performance and concentration" can be misleading. Think of them as highly-caffeinated drinks to get a better idea of what they are and how they affect you.

Energy drinks can be taken prior to physical activities but never during the activity. Sports drinks are designed to be taken during the activity.
