We were honored to join Siklab: Igniting Business as a Force for Good, led by the PHINMA–DLSU Center for Business and Society with De La Salle University, the DLSU Alumni Association, and Ateneo de Manila University.

Together with fellow social entrepreneurs, we explored how purpose translates into practice, guided by insights from Fr. Oliver Williams, the President of the UN Global Compact Foundation.

Grateful for the space, the people, and the shared belief that business can do more. For Varacco, the direction is clear: build for farmers, communities, and the future… without losing sight of why we began. 💚🧡

We’re grateful to have attended the first Sustainability Committee Briefing of the year of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, where, representing Varacco, Jessa Carabaca joined the session.

With insights from Global Compact Network Philippines and Meralco, the discussion reinforced that sustainability is a continuous commitment.

For us at Varacco, this connects directly to our work in coffee and smart farming—where energy efficiency, climate-smart practices, and technology (IoT, data, and precision agriculture) shape more resilient and sustainable systems from farm to cup.

A key takeaway: while hybrid work may reduce office energy use, total consumption remains—just redistributed. The challenge is how to achieve real energy savings across systems.

Looking forward to building better solutions together. ♻️⚡
