The owner/founder, Rene "Bicnok" Alcantara of Master Bicnok started from very humble beginnings and worked his way up. However, he was not well-treated or maltreated by them. He went through insurmountable hardship since childhood but he persevered and did not lose hope to redeem himself from poverty. When he was still going to school, he had to attend class even if he had not eaten; he even went
to sleep with an empty stomach. He also had to stay in the house of a friend for more than 3 years since he had nowhere to live or even a relative who could help him. Through his dedication, hard work, perseverance his unceasing faith in God (his only support), he was able to graduate from college. Cooking has always been his passion. Now, due to his desire to help and be of service to others even in the smallest way, he decided to embark on a small-scale business; this is how Master Bicnok was established (way back year 2020). Master Bicnok's mission/vision is to offer service to customers by selling affordable, delicious and nutritious foods; giving food for free for the indigent people or anyone that is hungry, create jobs for people; create business; and to assist future employees and business partners who have the determination, talent, concern and dream to uplift their lives. What he went through is a true inspiration to everyone.

Education is one of the most important key to escape poverty and get a better life. Many families could not send or afford their children to school because of poverty. The elder children must drop out school to let their younger children at school, because poor parents could not support their children needs like uniforms, books, tools, allowance, etc, especially school fees. Now, Master Bicnok future plan/goal is to grants scholarships for deserving students from low-income families, by providing financial aid for those who need it most. Let’s join our hands together to achieve Master Bicnok dreams and goal. Let’s help our children and youth (especially out-of-school) to fulfil their dreams!
