With a heavy heart, we are announcing that we have decided to shut down our shelter facility in Tayabas.
For years, one of our biggest struggles has been access to a reliable water source. Since 2024, we have been trying to raise funds to build a deep well that would provide a long-term solution for our rescued dogs. Despite our repeated efforts and appeals, we have never reached even 5% of the amount needed. If anyone of you will say to ask help from LGU, just so you know we did MANY TIMES but to no avail.
As much as it pains us, we can no longer continue operating under these conditions.
We would also like everyone to know that from the very first day of our rescue journey, all dogs under our care have always been available for adoption. We never intended for them to spend their lives inside a shelter. Our mission has always been to help them find loving families and forever homes. That is why we require interested adopters to personally visit the shelter and meet the dogs before choosing the one they wish to welcome into their family.
While we prepare for the closure of our facility, our dogs still need your help. They still need food in their bowls, medicines when they are sick, and daily care while they wait for the families they deserve.
If you cannot adopt, please consider making a donation. Every peso can help us continue providing for them during this transition.
We are also urgently looking for volunteers who can help us care for the dogs and assist in finding them homes.
Effective immediately, we will no longer conduct rescue operations and will stop accepting surrendered animals. This is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, but we must prioritize the welfare of the dogs currently under our care.
Please help us give these dogs a chance. Share this post, adopt, donate, volunteer, or simply help us spread the word.
The shelter may be closing, but we refuse to give up on the dogs who still need us.
Adopt if you can.
Donate if you cannot adopt.
Volunteer if you have the time.
Share this post, if that is all you can do.
For our dogs,
every act of kindness matters🙏🐾💙
