In partnership with DBHS dosmiluno, JRide is sharing this guide to help everyone prepare for tomorrow's Fun Walk and Taebo for a Cause.

Course: Official 5.21 km Fun Walk

To avoid long lines at the Help Desk, please check the information below and prepare your Event Pass tonight.

1. LOST OR FORGOT YOUR QR CODE?

You can securely recover your existing Event Pass here:

For regular and sponsor ticket holders, prepare:

Your Ticket Number, such as FR-344 or SP-005
The Private Claim Code printed on your ticket, usually found at the back
The mobile number used during online registration

The system will reopen your original Event Pass. It will not create another registration or another QR code.

Batch 2001 members and Golden Jubilarians whose registration is already linked to a JRide passenger account may also use the JRide sign-in option.

Those without a private ticket code or linked JRide account may proceed to the Help Desk for identity verification.

Please try the recovery link tonight. Once your Event Pass opens, bookmark the page or save a screenshot of your QR code. Do not post or send your private QR code to other people.

2. ATTENDANCE AND RAFFLE QUALIFICATION

To qualify for the Fun Walk raffle, you must:

Have registered online before the event.
Be physically present tomorrow.
Have your attendance recorded at the registration table.

Your attendance may be recorded through:

QR code scanning, or
Authorized Help Desk Manual Check-In when your QR cannot be read, your link cannot be retrieved, or you have no phone

This applies to all online-registered attendees, including:

Batch 2001 members
Golden Jubilarians
Regular participants
Sponsor-ticket holders
Online-registered guests

Please remember: online registration alone is not enough. Your attendance must also be recorded at the event.

Walk-ins and participants registered manually at the venue will not be included in the online-registration raffle.

3. VIEW YOUR OWN LOCATION DURING THE WALK

After your attendance is recorded and the Fun Walk officially starts:

Open your Event Pass.
Tap Allow Safety Tracking.
Allow your browser to use your phone location.
Tap Open My Live Map.

Your private map will show:

The official blue Fun Walk route
Your own current location
A Follow Me button to recenter the map

This is similar to a basic live map, but it is not turn-by-turn navigation. It does not provide voice directions, and JRide does not save your complete GPS trail.

Only your latest safety location is used during the event. Other participants cannot see your location.

For best results:

Open the link using Chrome or Safari
Avoid opening it only inside the Messenger or Facebook in-app browser
Keep your Event Pass page open while walking
Keep mobile data and phone location turned on
Bring a fully charged phone or power bank
4. SHARE THE FUN WALK ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Inside your Event Pass, tap:

Share Fun Walk / Finish

Before reaching the Finish checkpoint, it will share a participation message together with the public course link.

After your Finish checkpoint is recorded, it can share a verified completion message using the official 5.21 km course distance.

The event will never share:

Your live GPS coordinates
Your private Event Pass link
Your QR token
The locations of other participants

You may also share the public course directly:

5. PLEASE PREPARE TONIGHT

Before coming to the plaza, please:

Need a ride for work, school, appointments, airport trips, family gatherings, or other important occasions?

You can now book your JRide ride 2 to 24 hours in advance!

Here's how it works

✅ Book your ride at least 2 hours before your preferred pickup time (up to 24 hours in advance).

✅ Once your booking is submitted, wait for an available driver to review your request.

✅ The driver will then send you a proposed total fare for your trip.

💰 The proposed fare is based on your Local Government Unit's (LGU) approved fare matrix.

🚩 Please note: JRide provides a FREE 1.5-kilometer pickup distance. If the assigned driver needs to travel beyond 1.5 kilometers to reach your pickup location, an additional pickup fee will apply.

⏰ Important Reminder

Once you receive the driver's proposed fare, you have 30 minutes to review and accept it.

If no action is taken within 30 minutes, your advance booking will be automatically cancelled, allowing the driver to accept other bookings.

📱 We encourage everyone to check the JRide app from time to time after making an advance booking so you won't miss the driver's fare proposal.

Once you submit your booking, please wait for the **nearest available JRide driver** to accept your request.

After accepting your booking, the driver will review the route and send you a **proposed fare breakdown**.

The proposed fare follows the **latest fare matrix issued by the Local Government Unit (LGU)**, together with a minimal **platform convenience fee** that helps support system operations, platform maintenance, continuous improvements, and our partner TODA organizations.

You may then:

✅ **Accept** the proposed fare to confirm your booking and wait for your driver to arrive.

❌ **Decline** if you do not agree with the proposed fare. Your booking will automatically be offered to the next available driver, who may provide another fare proposal based on your trip. This process continues until you accept a proposal or cancel the booking.
