Let me answer some questions by telling you my WHY’sšŸ™‚

I’ve taken a few paid lessons from friends in the coffee industry, and they helped me build a solid foundation in espresso preparation, milk steaming, and palate development. I’ve also joined short coffee courses during some of my travels, mainly to expand on the basics I already knew.

That said, I believe the best way to improve is through hands-on experience. Make coffee regularly, even at home. Experiment, make mistakes, and learn from every cup. Invite friends over, especially those who enjoy coffee, and ask for their honest feedback.

If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend taking a basic coffee class near you while doing your own research on the side. Learn from others, but don’t be afraid to develop your own preferences and style.

At the end of the day, the best coffee you’ll ever serve is the coffee that you genuinely enjoy drinking yourself.🫔

You can have almost anything. You just can’t have everything at the same time.🫔

During our 11th month of operations, I made a stubbornly bold decision. I left the 11 month old cafĆ© for 30 days to visit my cousin on the other part of the worldšŸ˜†

Honestly, I didn’t know if I’d still have a business to come home to.

And while I was away, I micromanaged everything. I overthought every detail. I checked the sales and CCTV constantly, even from afar. But eventually, I realized there comes a point where you have to trust the systems you built and the people you chose.

Building a business from the ground up is a cruel game. You can’t brush off problems just because you don’t like them. Whether you like it or not, you will grow -often uncomfortably.

Choose hard things first. Choose things people think are impossible.

And back it up with everything you’ve got. 🫔

We live in a small community, and the pickleball players out here are our regular customers too. Improving a small essential part of the court is the least we can do in return for their unmatched support.

This is us, taking part in the community we’ve always been grateful to be part of. 🫔

Believe it or not, this took a lot of courage to make.
To post.
To open up.

Especially when my seniors keep asking me when I’ll finally go into residency.

But deep down, I knew this path was mine.

Sure, it may take more time.
But at least the time is mine.🫔
