To get perfectly clean slices and the best texture, wait at least 1 hour for small loaves, and 2 to 4 hours for larger, dense boules like sourdough before cutting.
We need to talk about something.
Fresh bread has one rule: it needs time.
When a loaf comes straight out of the oven, the inside is still finishing its bake. Cut it too soon and the crumb collapses — that soft, airy structure you love disappears into a gummy mess.
When our team tells you the bread isn’t ready to slice, trust them.
Everything here is baked fresh, every single day. Our bakers start baking at midnight so that we can have bread that’s cool enough to slice, some days we are still baking at 8 AM - wonderful loaves, not ready to be sliced.
From our kitchen to yours, we want you to have the best loaf of bread..
