February 25, 2025 | Commemoration of the 39th EDSA People Power Revolution

As a Catholic Educational institution rooted in Christian Leadership, Gospel Brotherhood, and Marian Spirituality, we uphold the values of truth, integrity, and solidarity in our mission to form future servant-leaders.

On this day of remembrance, we recognize the historical significance of February 25 and its enduring lessons for our nation. The EDSA People Power Revolution stands as a testament to the power of faith-driven action, unity, and the unwavering commitment of Filipinos to justice and democracy.

The freedom we enjoy today was won through courage and collective sacrifice. It is our duty to honor and safeguard these democratic values for generations to come. In the spirit of Gospel Brotherhood, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a deep sense of patriotism and historical awareness among our students, faculty, and staff.

Amid ongoing challenges and efforts to distort history, we remain steadfast in preserving the relevance of EDSA. As a Marian institution, we draw inspiration from the Blessed Mother’s humility and strength, guiding us to uphold what is true and just.

May this commemoration serve as a reminder that the spirit of EDSA lives on in our pursuit of truth, integrity, and national progress. May we, as one Lourdesian community, continue to stand for the ideals that define our identity as Filipinos.

In observance of the 39th EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong will observe a Day of Remembrance on February 25, 2025 (Tuesday).
