Did you know that Bulcachong is popular dish in Davao, Philippines, originated from Maranao people, an indigenous Muslim group? It is known for its hearty and flavorful soup base and tender chunks of beef or carabao meat. The name “bulcachong” comes from the maranao words “bulca” , which means soup, and “chong” which means meat, and is served with fried rice.
