e coffee bean grew in my heart until such time that I desired to own a cafe. I dreamt with a cup of brewed coffee in my hand, slowly embracing my soul, keeping it warm until I finally owned one. I choose to be there because I want them to experience the same love I encountered from a cup of coffee. Now, we are operating our cafe with simple machines we could afford and with a great love of coffee we could offer. Coffee made me a dreamer. Every single day, I witness how the eyes of my customers sparkle every time I serve them their orders. I love how they talk about their lives over a cup of coffee, releasing their stressful thoughts, and trying to calm themselves under its aroma. The palpitations I experience are keeping me alive and keeping my dream alive, which is to let others experience the magnificence of coffee. Through the help of my fellow kababayan for welcoming our Coffee shop “Mervy’s Cafe” into my hometown at Brgy. Iba, San Jose, I will be able to serve the best quality of coffee to my beloved customers. I will be able to share them love and hope, the things that we should offer during this time of pandemic.
