On June 8, 2014, the proprietors expanded their services by opening a restaurant at the New Market in Hilongos, Leyte. Along with this development came a new name — Vella La Cocina, meaning "kitchen in the village." This name reflects their dedication to sharing the rich Hilongosnon culture through good food and heartfelt service.
