Tired of fastfood restaurants and craving for home-cooked meals? Sa Anghel Tayo Kumain is the right place for you!
In this fast-paced world, we always want everything served right within a second. But who wouldn’t want to sacrifice a few minutes for scrumptious lutong bahay dishes, right? Located at the very town of Hagonoy, Bulacan, Sa Anghel’s Tayo Kumain will surely fill in not just your stomachs, but as well as your hearts with its pristine, homey-vibe.
The place is good for family gatherings. Even for business meetings and romantic dates if you wish to skip the usual cafe trip. They have a wide selection of food on the menu --- from full meals to minindals. And the price? Cheaper it may seem but the quality and taste is never sacrificed. You can even see how your food is being prepared!
Their must-tries include their pancit meals: lomi, pancit palabok espesyal, and pancit bihon. You may want to check out their kare-kare---meaty and with bagoong that compliments just right. The bagoong can even stand alone because it is not that salty or bland. You wouldn’t want to miss their Sinampalukang Manok. What makes it special is that they are using native chicken (manok tagalog) which is pretty unusual. They also serve our all-time favorite sisig. For side-dishes, they also have chicharong bulaklak. The chicharong bulaklak is all crunchy without the bitter aftertaste and served with the famous sukang Paombong.
And to conclude our meal, the desserts of course! They have halo-halo generous with all the stuff and milk. If you’re not a fan of sweets but want something for dessert, you might want to try their buko pandan. And for what we all agreed, you MUST try their koko flan. It is leche flan but with latik that surprisingly compliments and adds up to the flavor.
Overall, the place is definitely worth its price. We are giving it 4 walking forks!
