We’ve asked for the consent of a few neighbors to allow us to use some available spots, as long as their driveways are not blocked. Please DO NOT park in front of any neighbor’s driveway or gate. Our team will be assisting and guiding you to available parking spots.

Ito yung mga favorite namin sa Vietnam! 🇻🇳 Bún Chả (𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬) and Bánh Xèo (𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐫ê𝐩𝐞)!!

Konti lang kasi ang nag-ooffer nito dito sa Cavite. Usually, wala talaga siya sa mga cafés, and sa mga full Vietnamese restaurants lang siya available.

Kaya noong nag-HCM Saigon kami last month, inaral talaga namin yung lasa at kung paano siya ginagawa. We wanted to bring these dishes to Càphê Diem, pero syempre, may challenges din. 🥹

Marami sa herbs and vegetables na ginagamit sa Vietnam are either very rare or hindi madaling ma-access dito sa Pilipinas. So during our R&D, we had to make some adjustments while keeping the heart of the dish, and tweak the flavors a little para mas mag-fit din sa panlasa ng Filipino. 🇻🇳🇵🇭

And honestly, sobrang busisi at matrabaho ng preparation process. From grilling the meat, making sure na fresh and okay lahat ng vegetables and herbs, hanggang sa pag-timpla ng sauces, every component needs to be prepared properly. Hindi pwedeng basta-basta lang.

We just finished our R&D sessions with the barista, and successful naman!

So… we’re planning to release Bún Chả and Bánh Xèo, 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡, 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟏)!

Huhu, sana kayanin ng stocks! 😭 Konti lang kasi yung nabili naming rice paper from Vietnam, tapos sobrang hirap din mag-source ng fresh vegetables ngayon. Nagmahal din ang prices dahil sa bagyo.

SOFT OPENING PA LANG ‘TO?! 😭 August 15–16 was supposed to be our Soft Opening Weekend, pero parang nag-Grand Opening na rin! 🥹

DINAGSA NIYO KAMI! We honestly didn’t expect this kind of welcome from Dasma. Thank you for showing up, trying our Vietnamese drinks and food, and welcoming Càphê Diem into your neighborhood. 🇻🇳☕️

We’re gearing up for Càphê Diem Dasma!! 🇻🇳☕️ 𝐒𝐎𝐅𝐓 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟏𝟓. Ops, pero bago ang lahat Barista Training and Refresher muna with peeps from Dragon Brew. 🐉

Honestly, di namin akalain na lalaki ang team namin nang ganito. From a small team with a simple dream, ngayon, we’re training more hands, welcoming more people, and getting ready to bring Càphê Diem to a new home.

Grabe. Time really flies. 🥹 And seeing everyone learn, grow, and prepare for what’s next makes this chapter extra special.
