🚨 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: BEWARE OF DELIVERY SCAMS 🚨

To our valued customers, community members, and hard-working delivery riders

We want to raise immediate awareness about a cruel scam currently targeting delivery drivers (specifically Lalamove riders) in our area. This has been happening since August 10 and is still active.
The scammers are using the names of local establishments—including Ivo’s Kitchen and other nearby restaurants—to trick innocent riders.

⚠️ How the Scam Works:

THE SET UP: The scammer acts as both the "customer" and the "restaurant" using two different cellphone numbers.

THE TRAP: They book a food pickup and request the driver to pay for the food in advance ("pa-abono") using their own GCash and phone number, pretending it is the restaurant’s official payment account.

🛑 OUR ADVICE TO LALAMOVE & DELIVERY DRIVERS: Before agreeing to any "abono" or advanced payment, please double-check!

VERIFY DIRECTLY: Check the official page of the restaurant.

CALL TO CONFIRM: Contact the restaurant using their official numbers/social media account to check if the order and the payment request are real.

We are deeply saddened that hard-working riders are being victimized. We are in this together, and by spreading the word, we can stop this scam before it hurts anyone else.

Please share this post to protect our riders!
Please share this specially to those riders you know. 🙏
