Position: Cashier/Server
Reports To: Restaurant Owner
Location: Kambal Pares Dasmarinas Branch
Employment Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and answer questions about the menu. Provide prompt and courteous service throughout the dining experience.
• Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take orders, input them into the POS system, and process payments efficiently. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Food Serving: Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure food is served correctly and according to customer requests.
• Table Management: Clear and clean tables after customers leave, reset tables for new diners, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Cashier Duties: Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Accurately reconcile transactions and handle any discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tasks such as restocking napkins, straws, and other supplies.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Prior experience as a cashier or server in a restaurant setting is preferred, but not required for highly motivated individuals.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Cash Handling Skills: Accuracy and efficiency in handling cash transactions and balancing the cash drawer.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately.
• POS System Experience: Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays of food.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
• Knowledge of local food and beverage offerings.
