Sticky Teriyaki Chicken Cabbage Bowl 🥢 Sweet, savory, and sizzling!

Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 medium red cabbage, thinly sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
2 cups cooked jasmine rice
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Step 1/4
2 chicken breasts - 1 tbsp vegetable oil - 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce - Salt and pepper, to taste.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear until golden and cooked through, about 7–8 minutes. Pour in teriyaki sauce and simmer until sticky and glazed, 2–3 minutes.
Step 2/4
1 tbsp vegetable oil - 1 medium red cabbage - Salt and pepper, to taste.
Push chicken aside or remove from pan. Add more oil, then toss in cabbage. Stir-fry over high heat for 4–5 minutes until slightly wilted but still vibrant. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3/4
2 tbsp mayonnaise - 1 tbsp sriracha.
In a small bowl, mix mayo and sriracha until smooth. Set aside.
Step 4/4
2 cups cooked jasmine rice - Teriyaki chicken - Stir-fried cabbage - 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds - 1 green onion - Sriracha mayo.
Assemble bowls with jasmine rice base. Top with cabbage and glazed teriyaki chicken. Drizzle with sriracha mayo and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve hot.
