I started with a very tiny oven and sold chocolate crinkles after resigning from my previous job. Back then, I was starting from scratch, learning everything about baking and cake-making on my own in 2022. Because of the encouragement and support of my family and friends, I found the courage to continue. They believed in me and showed me that I was capable of doing something I never imagined I could.
Now, as Mae's Bites celebrates its 4th year, I feel incredibly grateful and blessed that I am still able to continue this journey. Being a cake chef has always been my dream since I was a child. I grew up watching baking shows on TV and reading recipe books, imagining that one day I would create cakes of my own. Today, I am proud of how far I have come. Everything I learned came from experience, countless hours of research, trial and error, and a passion for improving every day. The progress may be slow at times, but every small step is worth celebrating.
