Important announcement for all our amazing Roger’s regulars!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Roger's Cafe & Grill will be CLOSED for the entire day.

Don't worry, we haven't lost our minds—we’re just forcing our staff to hang out outside of work for our annual Team Building Day! 🌲🎯 We need twenty-four hours to practice our trust falls, argue over who grill master really is, and recharge our batteries so we can serve you even better.

We will be back on Thursday to feed your cravings, fully bonded and heavily caffeinated. Plan your coffee withdrawals accordingly!

Official Statement from Roger's Cafe & Grill

We sincerely apologize for what happened, especially for the words that were said about the cat.

We admit that the joke was insensitive and inappropriate, and we completely understand how it could be taken differently by someone who does not know us or the context behind it. Regardless of our intention, we acknowledge that it was wrong, and we are truly sorry that it made feel this way.

We would also like to assure you that we never maltreat animals, whether they are our own pets or strays. We have three cats and six dogs at home, all of whom are loved and well cared for. We also regularly feed stray animals around our area and have even rescued a stray dog that was severely affected by mange and was practically skin and bones.

We understand that one careless remark can change how someone sees us, but we hope our actions toward animals over the years can also speak for who we are. You are more than welcome to ask around and speak to people who can vouch for how we treat our pets and the animals around us.

We also kindly ask that when sharing matters like this publicly, we all try to be responsible and provide enough context to avoid misunderstanding or confusion among others who may not know the whole situation. We respect your right to share your experience, and we only hope that the circumstances are also presented fairly.

Again, we are truly sorry for our insensitive words and for disappointing you. We take your concern seriously and will be more mindful of what we say moving forward.
