You know what destroys more businesses than competition? š¦
A lion was sleeping when a little mouse scurried across him and woke him up.
The lion caught the mouse and was about to eat it.
The mouse pleaded:
āPlease spare my life. Iām so small Iām not even worth a bite.
If you let me go, I promise Iāll repay you one day.ā
The lion sneeredāhow could something so tiny ever help him?
Still, he decided to let the mouse go.
Not long after, the lion fell into a hunterās net. He roared in rage, trapped and helpless. āļø
Hearing the roar, the mouse rushed over.
With its sharp teeth, it chewed through the knots of the netāstrand by strandāuntil the lion was free. āļø
š” Business lessons:
1) Donāt underestimate small partners.
Donāt only chase ābig names.ā A small startup, a junior employee, or an ordinary partner today could become your lifeline tomorrow.
2) Networking is real leverage.
In business, no one is uselessāeveryone has a different strength.
The lion has power; the mouse has access, speed, and teeth that can cut through what strength cannot.
3) Invest in karma.
A small favor you give today can return as an enormous payoff tomorrowāsometimes it can save your entire business. š±
