The Tuesday Club - Dumaguete

Meet the Tuesday Club, an exclusive group of women who frequent the food establishments of Dumaguete City to sample their food and evaluate their service, among other things. These women have chosen to come back to their beloved Dumaguete after having retired from various places in the world. They all have a lot of things in common: retired; they love the simple joys of life, like relaxing, eating, laughing, and enjoying good company, and good food. Hence, the Tuesday club was born.

The friends eventually started meeting regularly every Tuesday to check out the cuisine of the city, looking at the quality of food, ambiance, service, and comfort of diners, things that restaurant patrons may find useful to know. They informally expressed their opinions in their individual pages, where they sought comments from friends. Dumaguete Metropost, hearing of the group, thought of inviting them to issue formal reviews to be published in their newspaper, to serve as a guide for tourists and locals alike. It would serve a great purpose, one that has not ever been served in the past.

The Tuesday Club is Vivian, Tess, Virginia, Flordy, Tina, Baby Ernie, Myrna, Millet, Juliet, and occasionally joined by others of the same background and interests.
