After almost 2 years of pouring coffee, sharing tables, and getting to know so many of you, we've made the difficult decision to permanently close Dwntwn Cafe.
This isn't goodbye without gratitude, it's the opposite. This cafe was never just about coffee. It was about the regulars who came in every evening and knew exactly what they wanted before they even sat down. It was about the students who turned our corner tables into study halls, the friends who met here for years of catch-ups, and the strangers who became familiar faces just from sharing this space.

thank you for your hard work, your patience during the rush hours, and the care you put into every cup and every conversation. This place ran on your energy.

thank you for choosing us, again and again. For celebrating birthdays here, for working through hard days over a warm/cold drink, for recommending us to friends, and for simply showing up. You gave this cafe its heart.
On a personal note, this decision comes at a time when our family needs to gather close. Our mother, the true source of light in our home and in this cafe, is preparing for surgery, and her health and recovery need to be our full focus right now. Everything we've built here came from her warmth, her strength, and her spirit, and it's time for us to pour that same care back into her.
Closing these doors is bittersweet, but we leave with more gratitude than sadness. Dwntwn Cafe was made possible entirely because of you, and because of her. We will carry these memories with us wherever we go next.๐
