Inspired by their travels and experiences, they set out to create a space where they could share their love for Yakitori—not just with family and friends, but with everyone. At Kozara, we honor the traditions of authentic Japanese Yakitori, blending time-honored grilling techniques with the finest ingredients. We source premium Japanese products alongside fresh, local ingredients from farmers and suppliers across the Philippines. Every dish is seasoned with Budbud salt, crafted by artisanal salt makers from Miagao, Iloilo, adding a unique depth of flavor. True to Yakitori tradition, we use a Tare (Yakitori sauce) that has been aged since 2020—a rich, complex sauce that continues to develop in depth and character with time. This dedication to quality and heritage ensures every skewer delivers an authentic and unforgettable experience. This is more than just a meal—it’s a story, a journey, and a celebration of the art of Yakitori. We invite you to savor every bite and experience the warmth and authenticity of Kozara.
